Obituary for Marguerite Ann (Margie) Griffith Marguerite Ann (Margie) Griffith
Greenbrier East High School Graduate Worked In The Food Industry

Marguerite Ann (Margie) Griffith, 63, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away on June 3, 2021 at the home of her sister, Betty Craft, with her family by her side.

She was born April 5, 1958 in White Sulphur Springs, the daughter of the late Baxter Curtis Griffith and Lucille Allen Griffith.

Margie was a 1976 graduate of Greenbrier East High School and was employed in the food service industry as a waitress.

One could always find food, clothing or shelter at her home, because Margie always had a great love for children and older people. She always was an advocate for downtrodden people and was there when they needed her the most.

She was affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Wild Meadow Church.

Margie was also preceded in death by brothers, Wayne, Bernard, Harvey and James; and her sister, Donna Louise Griffith.

Survivors include her son, Charles E. (Buddy) Walls, Jr.; two grandsons, Keegan and his mother, Daphne Fitzgerald of Ronceverte, WV; and Gavin and his mother, Mandy McLaughlin of Droop, WV.; three sisters, Betty Craft, Linda Griffith and Sandra Griffith, all of White Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Baxter and Larry, both of White Sulphur Springs; uncle, William Wyatt Allen of White Sulphur Springs; and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Margie's final wishes were to be cremated and her ashes interred with her baby sister, Donna Louise at Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs. Her request will be honored by her family.

Margie's memorial service will be held on Friday June 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Gene Sizemore and Pastor Donald Fury officiating with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitors may call anytime at Betty Craft's home at 2833 Big Draft Road, White Sulphur Springs, or at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made the food pantry of White Sulphur Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church on Ingleside Avenue.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
