Mrs. Cynthia Lynn Bess Dobson, age 49, of Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her residence.

She was the wife of Michael Allen Dobson.

Mrs. Dobson was born April 9, 1972 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late James Allen Bess and Benadine Cyrus Bess.

A homemaker, she loved taking care of her family as well as spending time with them.

In her spare time, Cynthia enjoyed camping, swimming, fishing and kayaking.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dobson is survived by a son, Brandon James Dobson of North Carolina; two sisters, Regina Lee Bess Parsons of Covington and Sandra Lynn Shaffer of West Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dobson was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Bess.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
