Johnie D. Lucas, 71, of Ronceverte, West Virginia, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.

He was born March 18, 1950 at Second Creek, the son of the late Grover and Goldie Hoke Lucas.

Johnie was of the Protestant Faith, a truck driver, logger and mechanic.

Surviving are his wife Tamara "Tammy" Wright Lucas; sons, Abie Lucas and companion, Kontessa Bostic of Ronceverte and Seth Lucas and his wife, Rachel of Sinks Grove and their daughter, Harlow; and his puppy dog "Jake".

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Organ Cave with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating.
