Mildred (Betsy) Grow Foster, 79, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021.

Born May 16, 1942 in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late George C. Grow and Mildred Kessinger Grow.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Aubrey Lester Foster, and brothers, Douglas, Eddie, and George David Grow.

Betsy was a member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church. She retired from Kroger.

Surviving are her two daughters, Jennifer Foster and Mildred Posey (David); two granddaughters, Isabella Posey and Alexandra Posey; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Beth Grow Hall; special friends, Sammy Burnett, Philip Patterson, Danise Patterson, James Patterson, Betty Funkhouser, Loretta Falls and Barbara Catlett.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28 at Buena Vista Baptist Church by Pastor Butch Grow and Pastor Ralph Grow Jr.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Georgetown University Hospital, Rockbridge Area Hospice, or Buena Vista Baptist Church.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
