Dorothy Campbell Clark, age 61, of 601 Prospect Walk, Clifton Forge, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born January 15, 1960 in Clifton Forge to the late Gernie William Campbell and Nellie Louise Thompson Campbell.

Dorothy was a dietary manager for Kissito Healthcare.

She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with God, family and friends. Dorothy kept her faith through the journey she was forced to walk, and was an inspiration to many.

She is survived by her husband, Wiley Eugene "Cooter" Clark, Jr. of Clifton Forge; three daughters, Daisy Tucker and husband, Josh, Amanda Bates, and Crystal McKenney and husband, Jonathan; two sisters, Barbara Higgins and husband, Mike, and Nancy Nicely; eight grandchildren, Shaun Persinger and significant other, Hailey Kimberlin, Gene Tucker, Austin Tucker, Lakin Tucker, William Bates, Emilee Terry, Nathan McKenney and Dakota McKenney; nieces and nephews, Lelia Tacy, Jim Nicely, and Andrea Higgins; one great niece and five great nephews; and her dog, "Scrappy".

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Dean Bowser officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Shaun Persinger, Austin Tucker, Chad Tacy, Jonathan McKenney, Jim Nicely, Kobe Nicely, Tristan Hall, and Adam Tucker. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
