William (Billy) Edward Moore, 48, of Meherrin, Virginia, passed away, Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Born September 20, 1972 in Lexington, he was a son of Betty Williams Moore and Graham L. Moore Jr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul Moore.

Billy was a professional logger and was a member of the Effinger Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Amber Moore, Caityn Moore, Dakota Moore, Randy Bryant, Josh Rice and Michaela Moore; seven grandchildren; sister, Sara Landrum (Ronnie); brother, Mike E. Moore; step-mother, Gloria Moore; and former wife, Patty Banton.

A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Benjamin Dowdy III.

Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
