Calvary Brethren Church Member Was Mohawk Industries Retiree
Hazel Virginia Moore, 89, of Buena Vista, Virginia, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab.
Born January 28, 1932 in Buena Vista, she was a daughter of the late Lidie Gilmer Moore and Daisy May Shanks Moore.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred W. Pitsenbarger, and a nephew, David Wheeler.
Hazel was a member of Calvary Brethren Church, and retired from Mohawk Industries.
Surviving are her brothers, Roger Moore (Pam), and Clyde Moore (Angie); nieces, Cindy Agnor (Kevin), Laura Moore, Tammy Ramsey (Kevin), Chloe Goff, Victoria Hamilton, and Carol Hamilton (Marvin); and nephews, Tony Pitsenbarger (Gail) and Bryant Hamilton.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 2 at Calvary Brethren Church with the Rev. Rick Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
