Obituary for Hazel Elizabeth Noblett Hazel Elizabeth Noblett
Rockbridge County Native Was Natural Bridge Hotel Retiree

Hazel Elizabeth Noblett, 90, of Lexington, Virginia, gained her Angel wings and now is in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Heritage Hall.

She was born January 18, 1931 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of George Washington Moore and Clara Wilcher Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Mark Noblett; son, Ernest Noblett; two grandsons, Jason Havenstrite and Jake Noblett; brothers, Abraham (Cotton) Moore, Raymond Moore, James Moore and Henry Moore; and sisters, Ruby Southers and Stellar Moore.

Hazel was a member of Church of God of Prophecy, and retired from Natural Bridge Hotel.

Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Havenstrite and husband, Bob of Harrison Arkansas; a cousin she thought of as an daughter, Susie Clark of Natural Bridge; sister-in-law, Vivian Moore; grandchildren, Jennifer Duncan of Washington, Pamela Havenstrite of Conway, Arkansas and Jesse Noblett of California; several nieces and nephews; special friends that helped take care of her, Mary Camden and Stephanie Wood.

The funeral will be at conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Harrison Funeral Home by the Rev. Sonny Wilhelm. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
