Obituary for Patricia (Patsy) Jane (Wilfong) Hull Patricia (Patsy) Jane (Wilfong) Hull
Highland Data Retiree Was Monterey Presbyterian Church Member

Patricia (Patsy) Jane (Wilfong) Hull, 86, of Monterey, Virginia, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at her home, after a years long battle with health issues, remaining a fighter until the end.

She was born June 12, 1935 in Mill Gap, a daughter of the late Woodrow William and Mary Margaret (Snyder) Wilfong.

A Monterey High School graduate, Patsy attended Bridgewater Business School and worked in Staunton for a business firm before returning to Highland, when she married Carlton Stewart Hull on July 1, 1955.

Patsy became a homemaker and loving mother until she went to work at Aileen Corporation, where she worked as the office manager. Following Aileen's closure, Patsy would go on to work at Highland Data until her retirement.

A woman of great faith, Patsy was an active member of Monterey Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed helping others and singing in the choir, especially during the Christmas Cantata.

Patsy loved her family, family gatherings, gardening, walks, being in the kitchen cooking, and let's not forget how she loved her cats.

Above all, Patsy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband of 66 years, Carlton, she is survived by a daughter, Carla S. Brown of Monterey; son, William "Billy" Hull of Grottoes; two grandchildren, Ellena Hull of Grottoes and Joshua "Josh" Brown of Monterey; as well as a brother, Scott Wilfong and wife, Linda of Manassas.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jan H. Barrett; grandson, Treves Hull; daughter-in-law, Lottie Hull; three sisters, Betty Jo Rexrode, Lois Ann Nucklos, and Theodoshia "Dodie" Lea Samples; and a brother, William "Tom" Wilfong.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Monterey Presbyterian Church with Rev. Richard "Rick" Hill officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Highland County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 268, Monterey, Va. 24465 or to Monterey Cemetery, c/o Nancy Sweitzer, 228 Triple Oak Lane, Hot Springs, Va. 24445.
