Obituary for Bruce Wallace Wigglesworth Bruce Wallace Wigglesworth
Self-Employed Farmer Was Clifton Forge Resident

Bruce Wallace Wigglesworth, age 92, of 1909 Oakwood Drive, Clifton Forge, Virginia, and formerly of Millboro, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at the home of his son in Alderson, West Virginia.

He was born November 21, 1928 in Ohio to the late William Wallace Wigglesworth and Thelma Norrene Vellenoweth Wigglesworth.

He was self-employed as a farmer, which he loved all of his life.

He was a deacon for Calvary Baptist Church and Goshen Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lawanda Compton Wigglesworth of Clifton Forge; three daughters, Rebecca Showalter and husband, Mike of South Carolina, Susan Wigglesworth of Alabama, and Joan Stauffer and husband, Shane of North Carolina; two sons, Charles Wigglesworth and wife, Claudia of Alabama, and David Wigglesworth and wife, Pam of Alderson, WV; a sister, Virginia Lindsay of Ohio; two brothers, Ernest Wigglesworth and wife, Ima Jean of Florida, and Danny Wigglesworth and wife, Pam of Arizona; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Memorial Cemetery, Millboro, with John Wigglesworth officiating. Interment will immediately follow.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, September 8, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
