Obituary for Pat Lambert Morgan Pat Lambert Morgan
Covington Resident Was Korean War Veteran, Owner Of Several Small Businesses

Pat Lambert Morgan, age 89, of Covington, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kern Morgan.

Born on April 22, 1932 in Caldwell, WV, he is the son of the late Carl W. Morgan and Cleo McClung Morgan.

He attended Lewisburg High School and was a graduate of Concord College. He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Throughout his long career, he was an educator, coach, corporate director, and owned several small businesses. He was an avid reader, low handicap golfer, and devoted WVU Mountaineers fan. His attitude was always positive, and his generosity was limitless.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by Bonnie Neville Morgan and brother, Phil Morgan. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Morgan; sister, Libby Temple; children, Valerie Bedsole, Kimberley Kearney, Julie Jones, Todd Morgan, and ten grandchildren.

At his request, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Valley View Animal Rescue, 5757 Rich Patch Road, Covington, VA 24426.
