David William Wolfe, age 62, of 2339 South Lewis Avenue, Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his residence.

He was born February 24, 1959 in Alleghany County to the late Clarence Wolfe and Pearl Byer Wolfe.

David was a mechanic in Alleghany County, and he attended Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, visiting the beach and loved his dog.

In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by two brothers, Larry Wolfe and Calvin Wolfe.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Kirby Wolfe of Covington; a daughter, Jennifer Via Hayslett of Covington; a son, Chuckie Via of Bath County; a sister, Ruby Simmons of Alleghany County; two sisters-in-law, Sue Wolfe and Gwen Wolfe; four grandchildren, Kelsey Hayslett, Logan Hayslett, Branden Via and Katie Via; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church with Reverend Doug Hollenbeck officiating.
