Obituary for Todd Allen Nicely Todd Allen Nicely
Sonoco Employee Was Selma Resident

Todd Allen Nicely, age 50, of 1408 Donovan Street, Selma, Virginia died Friday, November 5, 2021 at his residence.

Todd was born May 22, 1971 in Prince Frederick, Maryland to the late Jack Lee Nicely and Martha Juanita Puckett Nicely.

He worked in production for Sonoco Products.

He was an avid fan of both the Ohio State and Washington football teams. He loved kayaking the Cowpasture River, hunting and fishing, listening to country music, spending time at the beach, and eating pizza. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step father, James Farley and mother-in-law, Vivian Pendleton.

He is survived by his wife, Scarlet June Pendleton Nicely of Selma; a son, Jonah Dwiggins and girlfriend, Nina Quitugua of Virginia Beach; six siblings, Danny and Christy Nicely of Selma, Rebecca and Ricki Higgins of South Carolina, Sheila and Mike Landis of Covington, Rhonda and Steve Burger of Clifton Forge, Donna and Tony Green of Iron Gate, and Tony and Roxanne Nicely of Clifton Forge; sisters-and brothers-in-law, Deborah Pendleton of Covington, Leslie and Greg Warlitner of Salem, Stephen and Beverly Pendleton of Eagle Rock, Eric and Amy Pendleton of Waynesboro, Vincent Pendleton of Virginia Beach, Samuel and Ellarie Pendleton of Roanoke, and Louis and Kim Pendleton of Clifton Forge; a number of nieces and nephews; his special friends, Felito Gonzales, Paul Hoy, Walt Paitsel, Mark Brackenridge, Cathy Unroe, Shannon Ware and his coworkers at Sonoco.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
