Emily Ann VanMeter, 75, of Quinwood, West Virginia, passed away on October 27, 2021 at her home.

Born on May 25, 1946 in Caldwell, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Davis and Margie Holliday Davis.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Denver VanMeter; sisters and brothers, Evelyn, Edith, Mildred, Everett and Earl.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Angela (Clyde) Watson of Linside; sons, Dennis (Kimberly) VanMeter of Rainelle, Rickey VanMeter of Kentucky, Chris VanMeter and Brandon (Autumn) VanMeter, both of Quinwood; grandchildren, Rachel (Eathen) Riggs, Meghan Watson, Matthew VanMeter, Andrew VanMeter, Kaitlyn VanMeter, James (Jenna) Hoffer; great grandchildren, Griffin Riggs and Isaac Hoffer. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
