Obituary for Gregory Calvin Fauber Gregory Calvin Fauber
Seventh Day Adventist Church Member Worked With Bontex, Modine

Gregory Calvin Fauber, 60, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Born April 15, 1961 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Calvin Woodrow Fauber and Evelyne Dudley Fauber.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Greg worked at Bontex for 31 years and then at Modine for six years before becoming disabled.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved racing of any kind. Greg worked the concessions at the Natural Bridge Speedway as a young boy and drove a drag car for years. Greg was VT's biggest football fan and enjoyed tailgating while attending the games in any kind of weather with his good friends, Billy Agnor, Barry Whitten and Robert Austin. He enjoyed life to the fullest and never knew a stranger.

Greg was bigger than life and could light up a room with his contagious laugh. He loved the beach but was drawn to the mountains. He collected coins and antiques. Greg loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart and soul and he will also be missed by his two dogs, Leia and Jackson. His dear friends that were there to help Greg at any time were Gary Truslow and Jason Flint and not to forget his beach buddies, William Chittum (Pam) and Marshall Chittum (Athena) and all their children and his trout fishing buddy, John Mutispaugh. He had numerous friends and family whom he loved. His passing has left a void that can never be filled. Sweet dreams.

Surviving are his wife, Sheri Y. Fauber; four children, Tanya Kuhlen (Patrick), Seth Fauber (Lauren), Aaron Fauber (Chelsia), and Chelsea Huffman (Sammy); six grandchildren, Helena Kuhlen, Kyra Kuhlen, Julianna Kuhlen, Emily Kuhlen, Hudson Fauber, and Sadie Fauber; aunts, Joyce Keiser and Rita Dawson; and many dear cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
