Mary Ann Sorrell Tinsley, age 75, of 127 Crossing Lane, Low Moor, Virginia died Saturday, November 13, 2021 at The Springs Nursing Home in Hot Springs.

She was born June 22, 1946 in Lexington, Virginia to the late Hermon Milton Sorrell and Willie May Newcomb.

She was a retired waitress for the Alleghany Club and loved country music and dancing.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by a sister, Helen Railey; four brothers, Linwood Sorrell, William Hermon Sorrell, Charles Sorrell and James Henry Sorrell.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Dale Tinsley; a daughter, Tammy Lee Howard; two grandchildren, Savana Lee Howard and Nicole Marie Howard; three nieces and three nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Bishop Alfred "Mustard" Dearing officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
