Lertie DeWitt Davis, 74, of Natural Bridge, Virginia, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at his home.

Born August 28, 1947 in Lexington, he was a son of the late Lertie Hunter Davis and Susan Inez Graybill Davis.

Mr. Davis served his country in the U. S. Navy, where he was a proud Seabee, with four tours in Vietnam.

The only thing Lertie loved more than riding around on back roads was spending time with family. He always enjoyed his job as a crane operator, and loved playing music with his friends and band.

Surviving are his companion of 12 years, Debbie Ayers; son, Craig Davis (Rachel); and his grandson, Trey.

There will be no services at this time.
