Obituary for Larry Allen Terry Larry Allen Terry
Lewisburg Resident Worked With ABB Process Analytics

Larry Allen Terry, 73, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, was eternally healed and went to Worship his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever, on November 16, 2021, after a short illness while being surrounded by his family at his home.

Born September 6, 1948 in Monroe County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lacy Terry and Lula Lawhorn Terry.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Glen Walton; brothers, Lester "Bert" Terry and Ralph Terry, and sisters, Margaret Terry, Bonnie Blankenship and Diane Long.

Larry was a United States Army veteran who served two combat tours during the Vietnam War and had a great passion for the men and women of the military who still serve our country today. He was a lifetime member of the local VFW.

He was a member of Ronceverte Baptist Church for many years and recently attended Greenbrier Baptist Church where he proudly supported his son, Craig as pastor.

Larry was also a devoted employee, just as he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He worked at Lewisburg Wholesale Company for eighteen years before changing career paths and going to ABB Process Analytics where he retired with more than twenty-five years of service.

Larry also loved athletics and never missed the opportunity to be the biggest fan in attendance at his children and grandchildren's sporting events. Larry also loved to coach sports where he coached and influenced young kids' lives through decades of service. Larry coached baseball, softball and basketball throughout his life and made an impact on young people in a way that we will never fully know. He was an avid WVU fan.

Larry loved his family unconditionally and is an example for us all to live our lives by. He will be missed more than words could ever say in the coming days, weeks, months, and years ahead. Knowing of the love that he had for each of his family but more importantly the love that he had for his God is what will help get each of us through, until we meet again.

Left to cherish the memories and impact that he made to their lives are, his wife of 50 years, Beverly Walton Terry; mother-in-law, Velma Walton; children, Melanie O'Brien and husband, Michael, Lori Boggs and husband, Heath, Craig Terry and wife, Ashley. He will also be forever missed by Larry's true heart and joy, who called him Pa-Pa, his grandchildren, Zachary Boggs and wife, Kayla, Michaela Norman and husband, Tanner, Connor O'Brien, Hannah Boggs, Braden Terry, and Alayna Terry, and one great-grandson, Berkley Norman. He is also survived by his sisters, Mildred Pitsenbarger and Nancy Falls; a special niece, Beth Black, and so many more.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Andy Howdock and Pastor Craig Terry Officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Saturday at the funeral home. The family suggests donations of sympathy be made to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV.
