Peggy Sue Horne Southers, 55, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, with family at her side.

Born February 3, 1966 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Janice Jane Lotts and the late Gordon Eugene Horne.

Peggy attended Peoples Baptist Church and was part owner of Southers Auto Salvage.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James Lloyd "Jimmy" Southers; children, Edward Lloyd Southers his wife, Victoria, Megan Briley her husband, Spencer; grandsons, Kaden James Southers and Carder Matthew Hughes; granddaughter to be, Lilly Grace Briley; sister, Virginia Marie Horne; half-brothers, James Simmons and Roger Lee Simmons; half-sisters, Rebecca Jane Simmons and Barbara Anne Simmons; and special friends, Eason and Karen Roberts.

A graveside service will be conducted at Fairfield Presbyterian Cemetery by the Rev Bobby Brumit and the Rev. David Bain.
