Melissa Ann Burns, 62, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.

Born July 15, 1959 in Ronceverte, WV, she was the daughter of the late Donald Kent and Nancy Ellen Simmons Loudermilk.

Melissa worked as an LPN and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Rebecca Loudermilk; sisters, Jennifer Conkey and Theresa Lavalley and a brother, Donnie Loudermilk.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Ramsey of Lewisburg, WV; grandson, Noah Neal; brothers, David and Shawn Loudermilk; uncle, Gene Simmons (Linda); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV.
