Barry Nelson Petty, 59, of Goshen, Virginia, died Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home.

Born May 29, 1962 in Lexington, he was a son of Edith Marie Vest Petty and the late Danny Clifton Petty.

Mr. Petty worked as a painter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Aimee Petty; two grandchildren; brothers, Allen Petty, David Petty and Calvin Vest; and a sister, Brenda Barber.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 4 at Jym Springs Camp.
