Harvey Fleenor (Boo) Burns, age 60, of 1238 Commercial Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his residence.

Boo was born in Lorton, Virginia on January 6, 1961 to Edith Hillard Burns and the late Gilman Burns.

He was an independent contractor who was very good at home and business maintenance and painting. He enjoyed the outdoors.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Faye Reynolds Burns, and three brothers, Albert "Bubby" Burns, Robert Workman Burns, and Charles Daniel Burns.

He is survived by his mother, Edith Burns of Clifton Forge; two daughters, Nicole Faye Burns (Wayne Johnson), and Amber Dawn Burns (Travis Hyler), and two sisters, Sara Reynolds (Edward) and Vicky Spangler (Fran), all of Clifton Forge; a brother, George Burns of Low Moor; a grandson, Jayden Johnson; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Herbert Sams of Clifton Forge.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Pam Irvine and Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Herbie Sams, Glenn Jones, Mark Spangler, Bruce Hyler, Chuck Unroe, Eric Burns, Travis Hyler, and Dewayne "Punkie" Burns.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home.
