Obituary for Curtis Carter Persinger, Jr. Curtis Carter Persinger, Jr.
Clifton Forge Antique Mall Owner Worked With Hercules, Inc.

Curtis Carter Persinger, Jr., age 80, of 1409 Main Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence.

He was born July 7, 1941 in Covington, Virginia to the late Curtis Carter Persinger, Sr. and Edith Wilkerson Lowman Persinger.

He retired from Hercules and then opened the Clifton Forge Antique Mall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean Persinger Breedlove.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara P. Jones of Danville, VA; nieces and nephews, Linda Breedlove of Chicago, IL, Donna Breedlove of Prosper, TX, Brian Breedlove of Frisco, TX, Jeffrey Jones of Santa Fe, NM, Steven Jones of King, NC, Deborah Keatts of Cascade, VA; and special best friend, Gail Macintosh.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. Interment will be held at a later date.
