Berndette (Bernie) Posey McFaddin, born September 13, 1929 in Little Otter, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on December 9, 2021 from her home at Natural Bridge, Virginia.

Bernie was known by many as the Avon, Electrolux and Tupperware lady.

She was a member of Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship for 65-plus years and served in many areas of ministry within the church.

Bernie was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ray; her parents, Ellis and Laurena Posey; a brother, Leighton; a sister, Mondaine; and a grandson, Chris Karr.

She is survived by two daughters, Erlin Karr and Sandra Fix (Jim); two sons, Danny (Debbie) and Ronnie (Leigh); one brother, Carlton Posey (Joy); nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on December 13 at Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship.

Memorial contributions may be made to Natural Bridge Christian Fellowship, 21 Gilmores Mill Road, Natural Bridge Station, VA, and Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA.

The family would like to thank Rockbridge Area Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of our mother in her last days at home.
