Ralph Oliver Price, 83, of 2019 S. Lee Ave., Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Salem Veterans Medical Center in Salem.

Mr. Price was born June 20, 1938 in Covington, the son the late Lacy E. and Violet Mays Price Ford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Fridley; two granddaughters, Faith Fridley, and Ellie Wilson; a sister, Carolyn Robinson; and a brother, Charles Price and his special dog, Molly.

Ralph retired from AET, Inc and had worked at Hercules.

He was member of the Cliff Dale Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Betty Taylor Price of Covington; a son, Ralph Price of Covington; a daughter, Donna Wilson and her husband, Gene of Covington; grandchildren and great grandchildren, including Courtney Fridley, Oliva Price, and Layne Fridley; a brother, David Price of Jacksonville, FL.; and a number of nieces of nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A family gathering will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.
