Mark Raymond Carter, 67, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021.

Born Noveember 23, 1954 in Bremerton, Washington, he was the son of Virginia Weir Carter and the late Cale Carter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sharron Burgess; son, Anthony Carter; brother, Bob Carter, and sisters, Cathy Mosman and Louise Carter.

A service will be planned for spring 2022.
