Arlene Jane Chedester, 77, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Raleigh General Hospital.

Born December 22, 1943 at Sandusky, OH, she was a daughter of the late Arnold Leroy Waldorf and the late Mary Elizabeth Neer Waldorf.

Arlene was a retired waitress and sales clerk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Chedester.

She is survived by her daughters, Samantha (Tony) of Wheeling, West Virginia and Peggy, Jeanie, and Cindy, all of Ohio, and Cathy of Texas; a son, Edward of Ohio; stepchildren, John, Jr., Jason, and Tina, all of Ohio; a sister, Janet of Ohio; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a special friend, April Rendozzo of Virginia and a caregiver and friend, Beth Moody of Lewisburg.

Per her wishes Arlene will be cremated and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to a charity of your choosing.
