Perry Douglas Caples, 54, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, formerly of Ronceverte, passed away December 29, 2021 at his residence.

Doug was born May 24, 1967 in Ronceverte, the son of the late Perry and Edna Morgan Caples.

Doug was an avid Harley-Davidson bike rider. His trade was an auto mechanic.

He is survived by his children, Shawn (Erika) LaFleur of Asbury and Christopher Douglas Caples (and his mother, Mary Thomas) of Ronceverte; grandchildren, C. W. Sturgell, Lacy Sturgell, Derek Frazier, Bella Douglas, Kenzie LaFleur, Gage LaFleur, Bailee LaFleur and Kirby LaFleur; several cousins and friends with whom he rode motorcycles.

There is a gathering planned for Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Please come and share your favorite Doug stories with family and friends.
