Timothy Scott (Minner) Richmond, age 58, of 1020 Upton Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, January 2, 2022 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany in Low Moor, Virginia.

Timothy was born September 25, 1963 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Mason Edward Richmond, Sr. and Mary Frances Downey Richmond.

He was a member of Midway Christian Church, and a loving husband, brother, and son. He loved drawing, painting, and doing crafts.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Richmond.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Bennett Richmond of Clifton Forge; five brothers, Wayne Richmond and wife, Sharon of Hot Springs, Dale Richmond and wife, Sue of Clifton Forge, Willie Richmond and wife, Anna of Kentucky, Jimmy Richmond and wife, Latrina of Clifton Forge, and Mason Richmond, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Bedford; his mother-in-law, Shirley B. Bennett and sister-in-law, JoAnn Bennett, both of Circleville, WV; two brothers-in-law, Robert Lee Bennett of Franklin, WV and Greg Bennett of Covington; a special cousin, Bob Prior of Iron Gate; and a number of nieces and nephews including special nieces, Kimberly Martin of Farmville, and Kerrie Hoke and Carly Ann Hoke, both of Eagle Rock; and special nephews, Keaton Richmond of Buena Vista and Kalen Richmond of Covington.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Michael Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington. Pallbearers will be Glenn Campbell, Kalen Richmond, Tommy Loan, David Marshall, Sr., Vincent Cooper, Jordan Downey, Cody Prior, Brandon Prior, and Lacy Tucker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home.
