Jeanette Lee (Netsy) Pinckard Swoope Waddell, age 86, of Roanoke, Virginia and formerly of Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, December 31, 2021 at her granddaughters residence.

She was born January 20, 1935 in Clifton Forge to the late James Shackelford Pinckard and Annie Eva Simpson.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne T. Swoope; her second husband, David Waddell; and a daughter, Florence Schooler.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Reecie Elmore (Ashby Franklin); six great grandchildren, Alisabeth Stanley (Timmy), Brandi Elmore (Robert), Cordale Elmore (Haley), Dalaynie Elmore, Ethanael Elmore, and Courtney Franklin (Dillion); six great great grandchildren, Dani Stanley, Abel Stanley Paxton, AvaDella Stanley Paxton, Ryleigh Elmore, Henry Moore, and Loralei Elmore; a niece, Lynda Hicks; and nephew, Jonathan Pinckard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
