He was born on November 23, 1963 to Russell and Myrtle Coffey.

He loved the outdoors hunting, fishing, horseback riding, watching westerns, small children, and spending time with his family. He loved everybody, especially his mother who was by his side every day.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Henry Coffey; brothers, Russell "Boona" Coffey and Daniel Coffey; and sister, Hazel Coffey Link.

He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Coffey; son, Darell Hodges (Bethany); daughter, Britney Campbell (Shaun); sisters, Joyce Pugh (Lyle), Kathy Walters (Ronnie), and Tammy Coffey (Aubrey); brothers, Darrell Coffey (Connie) and Kenny Coffey (Nina); grandchildren, Trinity, Dominick, Emma and Kierstyn; and nieces and nephews.

His children, Darell and Britney, would like to thank his mother, sister, Tammy and nieces, Lisa Ramsey and Carly Tomlin from the bottom of their hearts for the never-ending love these women gave their father and devoting their lives to make sure he received the best care possible after a tragic car accident in 1988.

A private family funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 11 at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Friends may gather at the burial in Glasgow Cemetery.
