Mr. David Lee Persinger, age 71, of Covington, Virginia, died Monday, January 17, 2022 at Alleghany Health and Rehab, Clifton Forge.

Mr. Persinger was born March 12, 1950 in Covington, the son of the late Lelbert Lee Persinger and Virginia Fridley Persinger.

David served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was employed as a carpenter with Johnson Construction Company before his retirement.

In his spare time, David enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

Mr. Persinger is survived by a daughter, Terri Lynn Persinger of Stephenson, WV.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

The family will receive their friends at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Loving Funeral Home.
