Carl Bobby Hamilton, 86, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022.

Born March 1, 1935 in Buena Vista, he was the son of the late Levi Hamilton and Lola Richmond Hamilton.

He was a truck driver and he had a love of farming and growing tomatoes.

Carl was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Camden Hamilton.

Surviving are daughters, Sharon Hamilton, Sandy Breeden and Tina McCurry; sons, Carl "Cricket" Hamilton Jr. and Clyde Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Mattie Holland; brother, Tommy Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 26 at Falling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Hamilton officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
