Katherine Ann (Hupman) Lindsey, 58, of Grottoes, Virginia, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Sentara RMH.

She was born April 18, 1963 in Bath County, a daughter of the late James Lyle and Mary Edith (Robinson) Hupman.

Katherine enjoyed putting puzzles together and took pride in taking care of her kitties. Above all, she loved time spent with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Gracie Billings.

She is survived by her daughter, Alisha Ann Hupman of Grottoes; sisters, Lynn Mangiliman and Judy Sanchez, both of Harrisonburg; brothers, John Wayne Hupman of Harrisonburg and James Edgar Hupman of Covington; uncle, Thomas McRoberts; great-aunts, Sis Ryder and Nancy Ryder; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
