Obituary for Bertha Robertson Bertha Robertson
Warm Springs Resident Dies At Age 64

Bertha Gail (Stinespring) Robertson, 64, of Warm Springs, Virginia, was called to her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior Saturday, January 22, 2022 at University of Virginia Medical Center.

She was born in Bath County, December 6, 1957, a daughter of the late Samuel Allen and Faye Lois (Kennedy) Stinespring.

On August 29, 1981 she married Billy Robertson.

A servant and witness of the gospel, Bertha was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren, where she was very active as a greeter and choir member. She proudly and faithfully served as the pastor's wife for 21 years. She was a prayer warrior who encouraged many people. She was a people-person and everyone that met her loved her. She loved to sing and listen to country and gospel music.

She enjoyed being with family and friends, shopping, road trips or going to yard sales! Above all, Bertha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, "nana" and sister in Christ.

In addition to her husband of 40 years, Bertha is survived by two daughters, Crystal Crouse and husband, Adam and Percillia Madison and husband, Zach, all of Millboro; three sisters, Becky Liptrap and husband, Ronnie, Connie Liptrap and husband, David and Tammy Stinespring and fiancé, Johnny Martin; three brothers, Rocky Stinespring, Mike Stinespring and wife, Tammy and Randy Stinespring and wife, Jennifer; granddaughters, Sierra and Sienna Crouse; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her two special dogs, Katie and Ginger.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Gracie Lillian Madison.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren with her husband, Pastor Billy Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hot Springs Rescue Squad, P. O. Box N, Hot Springs, Va. 24445.

The Obaugh Funeral Home, McDowell, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
