Marjorie (Margie) Wheeler Brown, 76, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022.

Born May 19, 1945 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late James Eldridge Wheeler and Dorothy Terry Wheeler.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald James Wheeler.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, James "Bill" Brown; children, Cynthia Gay Brown, Brian Keith Brown (Vicki), and James Nathan Brown (Sandra); seven grandchildren, Anthony Chase Buchanan (Brandi), Sierra Michelle Powell, Dorothy Elizabeth Hensley (Cody), Alec Macon Brown, Jessica Renee Brown, Thomas James Brown, and Xavier Eldridge Brown; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Wheeler; and special nephews and nieces, Jay Foster Brown, Kim Denise Newman, Rhonda Buchanan (Bucky), Jason Wheeler, Kirk Wheeler (Terry).

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27 at Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Adam Williams and Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
