Longtime Greenbrier County School Bus Driver Dies At Age 75

Lonnie Gray McMillion, 75, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home.

Born February 15, 1946, in Renick, WV, he was the son of the late Jesse James McMillion and Nannie Williams McMillion.

Lonnie was retired from Greenbrier County Schools as a bus driver after thirty-four years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann McMillion; daughter, Heather Grey McMillion; grandson, Austin James Aldridge; five sisters and three brothers.

Survivors are a son, Lonnie Joe McMillion (Brandy) of White Sulphur Springs, WV; daughter, Amanda Lopez (Ruben) of Crawley, WV; sisters, June Alderman (Glen) of Marlinton, WV and Mary Frances Weaver of North Carolina; grandchildren, Brittney Aldridge of Lewisburg, WV, Mariana and Alex Lopez of Crawley, WV, Amy Hefner of Hillsboro, WV and Mekiah Jarrell of White Sulphur Springs, WV; great grandchildren, Brennon and Colton Armstrong, Ember and Saylor Hefner, all of Hillsboro, WV; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Monday at the funeral home.
