Lexington Resident Dies At Age 55

Stacey Potter Campbell, 55, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.

Born May 5, 1966 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Ray Lee Potter Jr. and Mae Conner Potter.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Lee Potter III; and grandparents, Ray Potter Sr., Nadine Potter, Clarence Conner, and Mattie Conner.

Surviving are her husband, Steven Campbell; brother, C.B. Potter (Donna); sister-in-law, Donna Chism; nephews, Cavett Potter, Paul Potter, and Conner Ray Potter (Kelsey); nieces, Mariel Potter and Leanne Potter Defino (Matthew); special niece, Maelea Hannah Potter; great-nephews, Zach Potter and David Defino; great-niece, Ava Defino; many cousins; Wal-Mart family; and special friends, Lisa Plogger and Kayliegh White.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Skip Hastings officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Collierstown Presbyterian Church, 31 Church Drive, Lexington, VA 244450.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
