Mrs. Patricia Ann Walker Harris, age 87, of Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Our Lady Of Hope Health Center in Henrico.

She was the wife of the late Rev. Paul Cassidy Harris.

Mrs. Harris was born January 7, 1935 in Mt. Hope, WV, the daughter of the late Herbert Ray Walker and Ella Avis Montgomery Walker.

A resident of this community since 1988, she was employed as a registered nurse by the Virginia State Health Department for twenty years before her retirement.

Mrs. Harris was a member of Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Harris is survived by a son, Brian Cassidy Harris and wife, Danielle of Glen Allen; grandchildren, David Paul Harris and wife, Haley, Andrew James Harris and Brianna Michele Harris; great grandchild, Quinten Harris; two siblings, Janice Gay Crum of Jackson, MI and Omer Ellsworth Walker of Virginia Beach, VA; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by a son, Richard Paul Harris and siblings, Phyllis Ray Addair, Herbert Arnell Walker and Sharon Lee Humphries.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, VA.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
