William Lee Jennings, Sr., age 77, of 5803 Kanawha Trail, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 in Roanoke, Virginia.

He was born May 18, 1944 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to the late Carlos and Arbutus Jenkins Jennings. He was a retired insulator for MeadWestvaco, and a lifetime member of Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church.

He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Joseph Jennings.

He is survived by his wife, Elise Hardiman Jennings of Covington; two sons, Bill Jennings and wife, Andrea of New Castle and Sam Jennings of Salem; four grandchildren, Amber Jennings, Austin Jennings, Matt Jennings, and Nate Jennings and wife, Jessica; and two great grandchildren, Aiden St. Clair and Easton Jennings.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church, White Sulphur Springs, with Reverend Lloyd Camp officiating.

A private interment will take place in Hardiman Cemetery in Greenbrier County, WV. There will be no formal visitation.
