Clyde Edward Carter Sr., 81, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at his home.

Surviving are his son, Clyde W. Carter Jr. and wife, Cherry; his daughter, Tracey Fennell and husband, Staffant Sr.; his grandchildren, Staffant Jr., British, Alexis, and Isaiah; his great-grandchildren, Navia and Xvair; his sister, Lena C. Nowlin; his brothers, Claude Carter, Roy Carter (Josie) and Jessie Carter (Elaine); a host of nieces, nephews, friends; and very special friends, Mike Agee and Jane-Maria (Bird) Sanderson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
