Obituary for Jack Calvin Arthur Jack Calvin Arthur
Glasgow Resident Served In The Korean Conflict

Jack Calvin Arthur, 90, of Glasgow, Virginia, passed away, Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Born November 29, 1931 in Glasgow, he was the son of the late Samuel Washington Arthur and Rebecca Conner Arthur.

Jack believed in the Bible, loved his Lord, his family, the Buffalo Forge Community, black cattle, and John Deere tractors.

He proudly served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He was also preceded in death by brother, George Edward Arthur.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Kerr Arthur; two sons, David Lee Arthur (Missy), Philip Dale Arthur (Debbie); three grandchildren, Phillip Vernon Arthur, Bryant Calvin Arthur, and Lucas David Arthur; sisters, Shirley McElroy and Dolly Hager; brothers, James L. Arthur; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26 at Falling Spring Presbyterian Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
