Obituary for Steven Lewis Kincaid Steven Lewis Kincaid
Rich Patch Resident Was Self-Employed Carpenter

Steven Lewis Kincaid, age 67, of 9706 Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 5, 2022 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.

He was born October 5, 1954 in Alleghany County to the late Homer Lewis Kincaid and Opal Burks Kincaid.

He was a self-employed carpenter and served in the United States Army.

Steven was an avid hunter, fisher and loved gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Jo Clark Kincaid; two sons, Steven Kincaid Jr. and Shane Kincaid (Jennifer), all of Covington; three sisters, Gail DePriest, Patricia Lester, Susan Kincaid, all of Covington; two brothers, Gary Kincaid of Low Moor and Charles Kincaid and wife, Dana of Eagle Rock; a grandson, Tyler Kincaid; two step children, Heather and Joe; his fur baby, Toby; special friends, Wayne and Bernita Fridley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. No services are scheduled, but friends may call anytime at the residence or Nicely Funeral Home during normal business hours.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, 304 Karnes Road, P. O. Box 60, Low Moor, Virginia 24457.
