Obituary for Karen Ann Argyrakis Karen Ann Argyrakis
Clifton Forge Native Was Dental Hygienist

Karen Ann Argyrakis, 61, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.

She was born December 7, 1960 at Clifton Forge, Virginia, a daughter of Elizabeth Clara Turner and the late Theodore John Argyrakis.

Karen was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School Class of 1979 and was a graduate of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College School of Nursing.

Karen found her passion for the medical field working along with her mother at Greenbrier Center in Lewisburg. She went to Dental Hygiene School and worked with Frank Collins. After graduating from Dabney Lancaster, Karen spent many years working at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and White Sulphur Family Care Center.

Karen's interest includes her love for animals, calligraphy, writing and photography. She was a loving and devoted mother and had a kind, genuine heart as shown by her love for family and friends.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Kathleen Alderman and Wyatt Hill Alderman and Ourania Argyrakis and John Argyrakis.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Clara Turner; a daughter, Leah Kathleen Argyrakis; brother, John (Melanie) Argyrakis and a sister, Barbara (James) Keys. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Uriah Argyrakis, Mikaela Argyrakis, Will Roark and Nicholas Argyrakis.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor John Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the funeral home.
