David Wayne Gibson, 52, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

He was born August 26, 1969 in Staunton, the son of Nancy Mikels.

Also surviving are his wife of 12 years, Sherry Lynn Gibson; stepfather, Steve Mikels; children, Dalton Gibson and Jessica Gibson; stepchildren, Ericka Burch and Christopher Berry; one grandchild, Delaney Burch; brothers, Tom Gibson and Joe Moyers; step-brothers, Shane Mikels and Arthur Mikels; sister, Melissa Turner; nephews, David Patterson and Kemper Gibson; and nieces, Jen Moyers and Kayla Gibson.

A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. David Bain officiating.
