Sandra Vaughan Keough Gardiner, age 81, of 2713 Vassar Street, Low Moor, Virginia died April 4, 2022 at her residence.

Sandra was born on November 24, 1940 in Coventry, England to the late Horace Keough and Hilda Mae Miles Keough.

She was a nursing assistant for Alleghany Health and Rehabilitation, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Arlie Lonnie Steel and second husband, Everard David Jumping Elk; and a sister, Jacqueline Keough Shaw.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Norman Gardiner, and a special great grandson, Levi Adkins of Low Moor; her children, Tania Steele Crawford Gibson, Stephen Steele, Danny Steele, and Terry Steele; grandchildren, Joshua Crawford, Jacob Adkins, Carmelita High Elk Doughton, Joel Marshall, Felicia Steele Gregg, Trey Rhodes, and Libby Rhodes Steele; great grandchildren, Eryka Harless, Justin Gibson, Dylan Gibson, Alysha Gibson, Liam Crawford, Ari Crawford, Max Marshall, Chloe Marshall, Serilia Marshall, Jace Gregg, and Jayden Gregg.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Clifton Forge with Father Tom Collins officiating, assisted by Father Augustine Lukenge.
