Donald Lee (Donnie) Adwell, 70, of Caldwell, West Virginia, passed Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at CAMC Memorial in Charleston following a sudden illness.

Donnie was born August 7, 1951 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Lawrence Earl and Ruth Arlene Legg Adwell.

He was of the Baptist Faith, and was a general contractor.

He loved to hunt, golf and farm.

Preceding Donnie in death was a sister, Cheryl Ervin and a brother, Michael Adwell.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Shirley Tolliver Adwell; daughters, Kimberly Adwell of Lewisburg and Missy Darnell (Joe) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Andrew Wayne Boone, Joshua Lee Adwell, Cody Lykins and Ashleigh Darnell; great granddaughters, Sara Jane Adwell and Lena Louise Boone; sisters, Sherian Means of Lewisburg, Patricia Ann Totten (Gordon) of Lewisburg, Donna Sue Price (Jimmy) of Caldwell and Elaine Christian (Raymond) of New Castle, VA.; brother, William Earl "Buzzy" (Sheila) of Big Springs, WV., sister-in-law, Pam Adwell; brother-in-law, Joe Ervin and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life for Donnie will be Friday, April 29, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Gary Dean officiating.
