She is also preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Ralph Stull, sisters, Gladys Humphreys and Hallie Rose and brothers, Melvin Stull and Kenneth Stull.

Ruby's love of life was caring for others and she lived the life she loved. She never missed a PTA meeting for her son or daughter. She was very active in their school and athletic activities. She was an election worker for most of her life. After she lost her husband, Harvey, Ruby became a volunteer at the Brian Center. She also volunteered as a reading and math mentor at Mountain View Elementary School where she was affectionately known as Miss Ruby. She loved children and always wanted the best for them. She never missed a chance to help out at her churches, including communion preparation, Sunday School activities, and Vacation Bible School.

Ruby loved to socialize. She loved her friends who became like family members. She loved fixing family dinners for get togethers. She never missed a chance to enjoy life. She loved to dance and is now dancing in heaven with Harvey, hugging Larry and happy to be with all her loved ones.

Per Ruby's wishes, her earthly body has been cremated and will be interred with her beloved, Harvey.

A Celebration of Ruby's life will be Saturday, May 21 at Arritt's Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service with the service following at 2:00 p.m. The burial will follow at Alleghany Memorial Park.

In lieu of food or flowers, please donate to a local food bank or a local animal shelter. Or, as Ruby was a two-time breast cancer survivor, please donate to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society.

Ruby loved everyone in her life and rejoiced in their love for her.

She will be missed.
