Tracy Burchette Wilkinson, age 80, of 306 Woodland Road, Valley Ridge, Covington, Virginia passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany in Low Moor, Virginia.

She was born June 1, 1941 in Covington, Virginia to the late Dwight and Cottie Nicely Burchette.

She was a retired beautician and a former church secretary for Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Covington.

Tracy was a longtime member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Covington and was also active in other churches in the area during her life, including Granbery Memorial United Methodist and McAllister Presbyterian Church.

Tracy was a woman of faith. She especially expressed this by her love of music. She played the organ, directed choir, and was a member of several local singing ensembles over the years. Tracy's beautiful smile, warm heart, beautiful voice, and love will be missed by all her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Boswell.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest Malcolm "Mac" Wilkinson of Covington; a son, Chad Boswell and fiancée, Hope and her daughter, Susan of Red Lion, PA; two step sons, David Wilkinson and wife, Laura of Richmond, Va and John Wilkinson and wife, Lisa of Kernersville, NC; a grandson, Aaron Boswell; a great granddaughter, Naomi Kincaid; four step grandchildren, Olivia Wilkinson, Brooke Simmons, Paige Voss, and Johnsie Wilkinson; six step great grandchildren, Andon Simmons, Mason Simmons, Lexi Wilkinson, Sadie Simmons, Emmett Voss, Maxine Voss; and special friends, Tina Brown, Margaret Carpenter, Charlotte Young and Carol Beth Davidson.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor, with Reverend Roger Baroody officiating.
