Worked In Timber, Logging Business For Years

Glennie Duaird (Jimmy) Hostetter, 72, of Lexington, died Saturday, March 25, 2006 in the Shenandoah Valley Health Carter Facility.

Born May 6, 1933 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late William Henry Hostetter and Marvin Wilhelm Hostetter.

Mr. Hostetter was in the timber and logging business for many years.

Surviving are two daughters: Carla S. Huffman, Buena Vista and Kimberly LeBlanc, Lexington; two sisters, Edith Sampson, Goshen and Pearl Knick, Covington; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sebby Volpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory in Lexington.
